Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair
FUEL CANISTER PURGE VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect vacuum line.
2. Disconnect electrical connector.
3. Disconnect the evaporative emissions service port-to-fuel vapor management valve tube.
4. Disconnect the throttle body spacer-to-fuel vapor management valve tube.
5. Remove the two bolts.
6. Remove the valve.
Tightening torque: 8 - 9 Nm {82 - 92 kgf-cm, 71 - 79 in-lbf}
7. Install in reverse order of removal.
8. Leak test the Evaporative Emissions System. See EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM LEAK TEST.
