Piston Pin: Testing and Inspection
1. Measure each piston pin bore diameter in X and Y directions at four points.
Diameter: 23.1725-23.1800 mm (0.9123-0.9126 in)
2. Measure each piston pin diameter in the X and Y directions at four points.

0.001 Oversize:
23.193-23.195 mm (0.9131-0.9132 in)
0.002 Oversize:
23.218-23.221 mm (0.9141-0.9142 in)
3. Calculate the related piston to pin clearance.
Clearance: 0.005-0.010 mm (0.0002-0.0004 in)
4. If the clearance exceeds specification, replace the piston and/or piston pin.
5. Measure each piston pin length.
Length: 62.3-70.1 mm (2.73-2.76 in)
6. If the length exceeds specifications, replace the piston pin.
