Camshaft Oil Seal: Service and Repair
CAMSHAFT OIL SEAL REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
1. Remove the timing belt outer cover.
2. Remove the timing belt.
Note:

The camshaft and oil pump shaft seals are replaced in the same manner with the same tools.
3. Install Cam Sprocket Holding/Removing Tool Special Service Tool (SST) 303-098 (T74P-6256-B) or equivalent.
4. Remove the bolt and camshaft sprocket.
5. Install Front Cover Seal Remover (SST) 49 UN01080 and remove the seal.
6. Install in reverse order of removal.
Camshaft Oil Seal Installation Note
1. Install the new camshaft seal with Front Seal Replacer Special Service Tool (SST) 303-096 (T74P-6150-A).
