6. Remove the differential side gears and the differential side gear thrust washers.
7. Assemble Pinion and Carrier Bearing Puller SST 49 UN01 029.
8. Position Pinion and Carrier Bearing Puller SST 49 UN01 029.
Note: The differential bearings must be installed on the same side they were removed from.
9. Use Pinion and Carrier Bearing Puller SST 49 UN01 029 to remove the differential bearing.

Repeat the procedure for the other side.
