11. Install the bolts and the nuts. Tighten the sequence shown in two steps:
Tightening torque: 10 Nm (82 kgf.cm, 8 ft. lbs.)
Tightening torque: 20 - 25 Nm (1.5 - 1.8 kgf.m, 15 - 18 ft. lbs.)
12. Install in reverse order of removal.
LEFT HAND EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
3. Remove the nuts.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Disconnect the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
6. Remove the nut.
