Lateral Accelerometer: Service and Repair
REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
NOTE: The acceleration sensor is mounted on the left hand frame side rail forward of the #3 crossmember.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the mounting nuts.
4. Unclip the fuel filter from the vehicle frame.
5. Disconnect the connector and remove G-Switch.
6. Install in reverse order of removal.
Tighten torque: 19.1 - 25.9 Nm (14 - 19 ft. lbs.)
