Cruise Control Servo Cable: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the accelerator control splash shield.
3. Remove the cruise control actuator cable bolt.
4. Separate the actuator cable from the throttle body linkage.
5. Remove the cable from the servo.
NOTE:
- Press the cruise control actuator locking clip inward and twist the actuator counterclockwise.
NOTE:
- Make sure the seal is present and pressed into position.
6. Remove the cable from the nesting slot.
7. Lock the cable ball slug into the slot located in the servo rotor.
NOTE:
- Make sure white indicator mark is visible on cruise control actuator cable for proper routing.
8. Pull the cable taut at the throttle body end.
9. Align and insert the cap into the slots in the servo body.
