Tighten pan bolts in following order:
^
First tighten four (4) corner bolts to 12-N-m (106 lb-in)
^
Tighten remaining bolts from back to front and alternating from side to side to 12-N-m (106 lb-in).
9.
Re-torque all oil pan bolts to 12-N-m (106 lb-in).
10.
Finish installing oil pan according to Workshop Manual.
11. Refill engine with oil.
12.
Start engine and allow it to reach operating temperature. Cooling fan should cycle at least one time.
13.
Stop engine.
14.
Re-torque all oil pan bolts to 12-N-m (106 lb-in).
15.
Inspect for oil leaks.
16.
Verify repair.
