Throttle Body: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the engine control sensor wiring from the Idle Air Control Valve and the Throttle Position Sensor.
3. Disconnect the accelerator cable and cruise control actuator cable.
4. Remove the Throttle Body.
5. If required, remove the Throttle Body gasket.
6. If required, remove the Idle Air Control Valve and idle air control gasket.
7. If required, remove the throttle position sensor.
INSTALLATION NOTES:
1. If the throttle position sensor was removed, install the throttle position sensor.
2. If the idle air control valve was removed, install the idle air control gasket and idle air control valve.
3. If the throttle body gasket was removed, install a new throttle body gasket.
