Brake Fluid: Service and Repair
BRAKE FLUID
Replacement
Caution:

Do not allow the reservoir to run dry during air bleeding.

Do not spill brake fluid onto painted surfaces. If spilled, wipe it off immediately.
1. Remove the brake fluid from the reservoir by using a suction pump.
2. Fill the reservoir with clean brake fluid.
3. Attach a vinyl tube to the farthest bleeder fitting and place.
4. Pump out the old brake fluid by loosening the bleeder fitting and pumping the brake pedal by loosening the bleeder fitting and pumping the brake
pedal until only clean fluid is expelled.
5. Perform the above for all bleeder fittings.
6. Fill the reservoir to the specified levels.
