DESCRIPTION
Water from condensation on the evaporator core may leak onto the passenger compartment floor. Leakage is most likely when the blower is set on
"HIGH" and the A/C mode control is on "MAX" or "NORMAL." The leakage may be caused by out of place evaporator core strip seals. Customers
complaining of this concern should have the vehicle inspected and if necessary, the strip seals stretched and repositioned.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Verify the concern.
2.
Check the evaporator drain tube for blockage.

If the tube is blocked, clear blockage and test for proper draining.

If the tube is not blocked, proceed to step 3.
3.
Remove the evaporator assembly from the engine compartment. Refer to section G of the BETM.
4.
Remove the service cover from the evaporator assembly.
5.
Remove the evaporator core.
