Install multi-function switch. Tighten multi-function switch retaining screws to 2-3 Nm (18-26 lb-in.).

Install air bag sliding contact. Refer to section N of the Workshop Manual.

19.

Install steering column into vehicle. Refer to Section N of the Workshop Manual for Installation Procedure.

20.

Install steering wheel onto column shaft. Install a new bolt and tighten to 31-48 Nm (23-33 lb-ft).

21.

Install air bag module, according to section S of the Body Electrical Troubleshooting Manual.

22.

Connect battery positive cable.

23.

Verify air bag warning indicator operates properly. (Refer to section S of the Body Electric Trouble Shooting Manual.
