Remove the two screws which hold the diaphragm bracket and replace the diaphragm.
CHOKE LEVER LOCATION

Adjust the choke pull-off angle as follows:
a)
Hold the choke valve fully closed.
b)
Apply a vacuum of about 400 mm Hg (15.7 in. Hg) to the diaphragm as shown and check clearance (R).
Clearance (R):
1.95 +/- 0.25 mm (0.077 +/- 0.010 in.)
c)
If the clearance is not within the standard value, adjust it by bending the choke lever.
5.
Reconnect the vacuum hoses to the diaphragm.

E-CLIP AND VACUUM HOSE LOCATION
1.
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the choke diaphragm.
2.
Remove the E-clip from the diaphragm rod.
