Air Injection Control Valve: Description and Operation
ACV Solenoid Valve
The ACV (air control valve) solenoid valve is an ECU controlled component of the air injection system. When energized by the ECU, the ACV valve
allows vacuum to activate air control valve #2 (part of air injection reed valve "A"). Reed valve "A" supplies secondary air to the exhaust manifold
when #1 or #2 air control valve passages open and when both are open.
