EGR Control Solenoid: Description and Operation
Exhaust Gas Recirculation System (EGR)
The EGR Duty Solenoid Valve is a unit consisting of vacuum and vent valves. It is an ECU controlled component of the exhaust gas recirculation
system. The vacuum valve opens the vacuum passage to the EGR valve, and the vent valve vents the vacuum from the vacuum valve. This system
permits precise ECU control of EGR valve operation.
