Vacuum Advance Control Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
Vacuum Solenoid Valve Connector
Solenoid Valve
1. Remove vacuum solenoid valve.
2. Connect vacuum hoses to valve as shown.
3. Blow air through valve from hose "A" and verify that air comes out of valve air filter.
4. Apply battery power and ground solenoid valve with jumper wire.
5. Blow air through valve from hose "A" and verify that air comes out of port "B."
6. If vacuum solenoid valve does not operate properly, replace it.
