R Mark Face Forward

1. Install the three-piece oil rings on the pistons.

(a) Apply engine oil to the oil ring spacer and rails.
(b) Install the oil ring spacer so that the opening faces upward.
(c) Install the upper rail and lower rail.

Note: The upper rail and lower rail are the same. Each rail can be Installed with either face upward.
