DESCRIPTION
In order to prevent the inside of the engine oil level gauge pipe from rusting, anti-rust oil has been applied inside the pipe since May 21, 1987.
For vehicles produced prior to the above modification, the oil level gauge may rust because the rust generated inside the pipe will be transferred to the
oil level gauge.
Therefore, you are requested to replace the oil level gauge and pipe with the new parts which have anti-rust oil. After replacing the oil level gauge and
pipe, mark a black dot on the pipe stay as shown in order to distinguish the modified one from the original.

Before replacing the oil level gauge and pipe, check if there is a black dot on the pipe stay. If a black dot is on the stay, it is not necessary to
replace the parts.
