d. Install differential side boot with a new boot band (the part with the smaller diameter).
e. Attach clip to clip groove in shaft.

Assemble cage, inner race and balls: first, insert inner race into cage and turn cage approximately 30° with respect to inner race; second, fit
balls through cage into ball groove of inner race; third, fill inside of ball joint assembly with grease supplied in repair kit.
g. Install cage to shaft, then fit snap ring into snap ring groove in shaft.
h. Fit differential side boot onto outer race and the boot groove of the shaft, then secure boot with new boot band.
2.
Install wheel side boot as follows:
a. Fit wheel side boot onto ball joint assembly and the boot groove of the shaft.
b. Secure boot with new boot band.
