2007 CX-7 vehicles with VINS lower than JM3ER****7*148902 (produced before Oct. 30, 2006)
DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may exhibit a squeaking noise from the rear brakes during the first light brake application in the morning, after the vehicle has been sitting
overnight in the rain. This symptom is more likely to occur in humid conditions.
The brake material has been changed to reduce the squeak noise.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Verify customer concern.
2.
Replace rear brake pads according to Workshop Manual (section 04-11 DISC PAD (REAR) REPLACEMENT).
3.
Verify repair.
