Pull parking brake shoe downward to remove.

12.

Clean contact surface (not the pad surface) of parking brake shoe with brake cleaner.

13.

Clean contact surface of hold-down spring.

14.

Lightly apply grease on contact surface (not the pad surface) of parking brake shoe.

NOTE:

Use High Temp 4x4 Front Axle and Wheel Bearing Grease (P/N 0000-77-220E-10) or equivalent.
