DESCRIPTION
Some customers may complain that the front fender(s) can be pushed inward and outward when the lower A-pillar area is pressed by hand. This may be
caused when foam material on the back of the fender comes off.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Verify customer concern.
2.
Remove affected front fender(s) according to Workshop Manual (section 09-10 FRONT FENDER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).
3.
Verify foam material has come off vehicle body.
4.
Remove any foam residue material from inner fender, then degrease the area.
5.
Apply (locally sourced) quick-dry urethane body sealer to vehicle body.
