Carpet: Service and Repair
FLOOR COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the following parts:
1. Front seat
2. Rear seat
3. Car-navigation unit (vehicles with car-navigation system)
4. Audio amplifier (BOSE)
5. Front scuff plates
6. Rear scuff plates
7. Console
8. Front side trims
9. B-pillar lower trims
10. Lower anchor of the front seat belt installation bolts
11. Tire house trims (5-Door, Sport Wagon)
3. Remove the fuel-filler lid opener bezel.
4. Remove the fasteners.
5. Remove the cap nuts.
6. Remove the clips.
7. Take the floor covering off from the front passenger-side door opening.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
