APPLICABLE MODELS/VINS

1995 Millenia vehicles with a VIN of JM1TA22**S1126122 and lower.*

DESCRIPTION

During certain conditions, the evaporator may partially freeze. This condition may result in damp carpeting at the front, passenger side of the vehicle.
The dampness is caused by condensation dripping from the evaporator. The freezing occurs when the evaporator temperature is not measured correctly
and refrigerant is continuously pumped into the evaporator.

To prevent this condition, the location of the temperature sensor has changed as shown.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1.

Inspect the vehicle and confirm the problem.

2.

Reposition the temperature sensor according to the illustration above.
