1. Support the caliper as shown.

DISC PLATE REMOVAL NOTE 

1. Mark the wheel hub bolt and disc plate before removal for reference during installation.

If any disc plate is difficult to remove, loosen the parking brake shoes as described below.
i.

Remove the service plug from the disc plate.

ii. Insert a screwdriver into the hole and turn the adjuster in the opposite direction of the arrow marked on the disc plate.

PARKING BRAKE SHOE INSTALLATION NOTE 

1. Before installing the parking brake shoes, apply grease to the shaded areas of the back plate, as shown.

OPERATING LEVER INSTALLATION NOTE 

1. Install the operating lever with the arrow facing the front.
