Evaporator Core: Service and Repair
Front Evaporator Unit
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable, then discharge refrigerant from cooling system.
2.
Disconnect intake and discharge lines from cooling unit fittings.
3.
Remove cooling unit line grommets, glove compartment lower panel, then glove compartment.
4.
Disconnect thermo-switch connector.
5.
Remove drain hose, cooling unit attaching nuts, then cooling unit.
6.
Reverse procedure to install.
