Throttle Cable/Linkage: Testing and Inspection
ACCELERATOR CABLE INSPECTION
Free Play Inspection
1. Verify that the throttle valve is closed.
2. Push the cable into the housing and put a white mark on the cable at the end of the housing.
3. Then pull the cable out and measure the distance from the white mark to the end of the cable housing.

If not within the specification, adjust the accelerator cable.
Free play: 1.5 - 4.0 mm (0.06-0.15 inch)
