2000-2004 MPV - RATTLING NOISE FROM 2ND-
ROW SEATS

APPLICABLE MODEL(S)/VINS

2000 - 2004 MPV vehicles with VINs of JM3LW28**4*531891 or lower

DESCRIPTION

Some vehicles may exhibit a rattling noise from the 2nd-row seats when driving over rough road surfaces.

To reduce the noise, the seat slider roller diameter has been increased.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1.

Verify customer concern.

2.

Replace the affected seat slider with modified parts according to the Workshop Manual (Section 09-13 SECOND-ROW SEAT
DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY).

3.

Verify repair.
