DESCRIPTION
This bulletin contains information on lower cup holder replacement. The part number listed below is newly established and should be utilized when a
lower cup holder base is broken. Do not replace the whole cup holder assembly to repair a broken lower cup holder base, unless deemed necessary.
Customers complaining of this subject should have the vehicle inspected, and repaired, as necessary.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Verify the concern.
2.
Pull the cup holder forward to the OPEN position from the center lower panel.
3.
Remove the cup holder base by carefully disconnecting (prying) the connecting rod from the base and popping- out the side pins of the cup holder
by hand or with small screwdriver. Refer to above illustration.

It is not necessary to remove the whole cup holder assembly to remove the cup holder base.
4.
Assemble the new lower cup holder base to the cup holder assembly, in reverse order.
5.
Verify repair.
