Parking Brake Shoe: Service and Repair
Replacement

1. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

a. Mark the wheel hub bolt and disc plate before removal for reference during installation.
b. If the disc plate is difficult to remove, loosen the parking brake shoes as described below.

1. Remove the service plug from the disc plate.
2. Insert a screwdriver into the hole, and turn the adjuster in the opposite direction of the arrow marked on the disc plate.
