Camshaft: Testing and Inspection
Camshaft Runout
1. Set the front and rear journals on V-blocks. Measure the camshaft runout. Replace if necessary.
Runout: 0.03 mm (0.0012 in) max.
2. Inspect the cam for wear and damage. Replace if necessary.
