Thermostat: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION
Inspect the thermostat and replace as necessary.
1. Inspect the O-ring for damage.
2. Visually check that the valve is airtight.
3. Place the thermostat and a thermometer in water. Heat the water and inspect.
