Four Wheel Drive Selector Relay: Testing and Inspection

TERMINAL VOLTAGE 

1. Turn the ignition to ON.
2. Using a voltmeter, measure the voltage at each wire at the indicated connector during each mode shift of the 4WD system. If not as specified,

perform 4WD Control Module Inspection.

CONTINUITY 

1. Remove the 4WD relay (change motor relay No.l, No.2).
2. Verify that there is continuity between terminals A and B, and C and F.
3. Connect battery voltage to terminals A and B as shown and verify that there is continuity between terminals C and E.
4. If not as specified, replace the 4WD relay (change motor relay No.l, No.2).
