Lateral Accelerometer: Testing and Inspection
G Sensor Inspection
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON, then inspect for voltage between the output terminal (B) and ground terminal (A) of the G sensor connector as
shown.

Level condition
Voltage: 2.4 - 2.6 volts

G sensor vertical (arrow up)
Voltage: 1.3 - 1.7 volts

G sensor vertical (arrow down)
Voltage: 3.3 - 3.7 volts
2. If not as specified, replace the G sensor.
