DESCRIPTION
The seat belt warning light may illuminate and/or the buzzer sound. This concern occurs even when the seat belt is latched and functioning properly. A
new retractor switch is available to correct this concern.
Customers complaining of this problem should have the vehicle inspected as outlined below and if necessary a new retractor switch installed in
accordance with the repair procedure.

Inspection Procedure
1.
Slide rearward and recline both front seats.
2.
Sit in the driver's seat and attach each lap belt in the appropriate buckles.
3.
Close both front doors and turn the ignition switch ON to ramp the shoulder belt assemblies rearward to the set position.
4.
Slowly pull the driver's side belt outward (0.5 inch per second) while observing the warning light. Retract at the same rate of speed and watch the
