Fuel Pump Relay: Testing and Inspection

OPERATIONAL INSPECTION

1. Remove the console trim panel from the passenger side foot well area.
2. Listen for operational "click" sound of relay when ignition switch is turned to the START position.

CONTINUITY INSPECTION

1. Unplug the relay connector.
2. Remove the fuel pump relay from its bracket on the engine control module (ECM). 

Relay Terminal ID And Test Specifications

3. Check continuity between the relay terminals with an ohm meter as shown.
4. If not as specified, replace relay.
