Shift Solenoid: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
View: Solenoid Connectors
1. Disconnect the solenoid connectors.
2. Remove the control valve body.
View: Shift Solenoids And TCC Solenoid Valve
3. Remove the solenoid(s).
INSTALLATION
1. Apply ATF to a new 0-ring and install it, the new solenoid(s), and the oil strainer assembly.
Tightening torque: 7.9 - 10.7 Nm (70 - 95 in.lb.)
2. Install the control valve body.

CAUTION: Apply a light coat of silicone sealant to both sides of a new gasket, and install it to the oil pan.
Tightening torque: 8.4 - 10.7 Nm (74 - 95 in.lb.)
3. Connect the solenoid connectors.
4. Refill automatic transaxle to the proper level and check for leaks.
5. Drive the vehicle and check the shift points, shift schedule, and shift shock.
