Idle/Bypass Air Control Valve: Service and Repair
ISC Valve Removal
1.
Disconnect valve connector.
2.
Remove air pipe.
3.
Drain cooling system to below level of valve.
4.
Disconnect water and air hoses.
5.
Remove valve.
6.
Reverse removal procedure to install. Use a new gasket and tighten mounting bolts to 25 - 35 in lb (2.8 - 4.0 Nm).
