This bulletin contains two (2) current window noise performance issues, their detailed symptom descriptions, repair procedures, and warranty
information.

This bulletin covers only the symptoms listed below. Refer to the Workshop Manual for troubleshooting and repair of other symptoms.

Symptom A - Door Glass Rattle at Top Rear Portion of Doors

Symptom B - Door Glass Rattle Inside Driver's Door

SYMPTOM A - DESCRIPTION

Door Glass Rattle at Top Rear Portion of Doors

Some 1993 MX-6's may exhibit a symptom where a rattle or squeak is heard at the top rear portion of the left or right door(s). This is due to a lack of
lubricant on the door weatherstrip (body side).

SYMPTOM A - REPAIR PROCEDURE

If a vehicle is encountered with the above condition, perform the following procedure.

1.

Spray a lubricant (silicone) on the affected portion of the weatherstrip.

2.

Allow the lubricant to soak into the rubber for approximately three (3) to four (4) minutes.

3.

Wipe away any excess lubricant with a cloth.

NOTE:
- Use a spray lubricant (silicone) rather than grease.
- After lubricating, insure that the rattle/squeak is gone.
