Throttle Cable/Linkage: Service and Repair
1.
Inspect inner and outer cable for damage.
2.
Ensure accelerator operates smoothly.
3.
Remove battery and bracket, then main fuse block.
4.
Remove inner cooler air funnel and pipe, then separate the EC-AT harness.
5.
Raise and support vehicle, then drain automatic transmission fluid.
6.
Remove throttle cable from throttle cam.
7.
Remove control valve body cover and gasket.
8.
Remove throttle cable from throttle cam control valve body.
9.
Remove attaching bolt and throttle cable from transaxle.
10.
Reverse procedure to install.
