Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Testing and Inspection
POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
1. Remove in the order shown in the figure.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.
1. Negative battery cable
2. Cover
3. Center console
4. Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connector
5. PCM
INSPECTION
CAUTION: The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) terminal voltages vary with change in measuring conditions and vehicle conditions. Always
carry out a total inspection of the input systems, output systems, and PCM to determine the cause of trouble. Otherwise, a wrong diagnosis will be
made.
