Ignition Control Module: Service and Repair

EDIS Module Replacement

1.

Disconnect battery cables and remove battery.

2.

Unplug module electrical connector.

3.

Remove module mounting bolt and remove module.

4.

To replace, insert module rivet into tear-drop mounting hole on fender apron and push into position.

5.

Install a new mounting bolt and tighten to 22 - 31 inlb (2.5 - 3.5 Nm).

6.

Plug in module electrical connector, install battery and connect cables.
