Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Throttle Position Sensor Replacement
REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect sensor electrical connector.
2.
Remove two sensor retaining screws.
3.
Lift off sensor and discard gasket.
INSTALLATION
1.
Position sensor with electrical connector facing rearward and use a new gasket.
2.
Secure sensor to throttle body with two screws and tighten to 11 - 16 inlb (1.2 - 1.8 Nm).
3.
Reinstall electrical connector.
