Clutch Switch: Description and Operation
Clutch Switch
The Clutch Interlock Three Function Switch, located on the clutch master cylinder push rod, is a multi-function device:
^ The clutch pedal must be depressed to the floor in order to start the engine.
^ The switch cuts off the speed (cruise) control system when the clutch pedal is depressed.
^ It provides a fuel control signal to the EEC system.
