DESCRIPTION
Some Navajo vehicles may drift or pull to the right. This may be caused by insufficient side-to-side caster angles. To correct this, change caster angle(s)
so the right side is 0.5" higher than the left side.
Vehicles built after October 28, 1990 (see AFFECTED VINS) use revised Radius Arms (ZZL0 34 223), which increase the side-to-side caster angle
(right side higher than left) and eliminate pulling.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1.
Inspect vehicle for causes of drift or pull. Refer to Section R of the applicable Workshop Manual.
2.
Check the ride height of the vehicle. If necessary, adjust it to specification. See Section R of the applicable Workshop Manual.
3.
Check the wheelbase. Length of wheel base is 2,593 mm (102.1 in.).
4.
Check and record the camber, caster and toe values.
5.
Determine the amount of change required to set the right side caster angle 0.5~ higher than the left side caster angle. See Section R of the
applicable Workshop Manual.
