Protege L4-1.5L DOHC (1995)
1.
Begin removing the headlight switch by recording all preset audio stations.
2.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3.
Center the steering wheel.
4.
Remove the following items. Refer to the Workshop Manual (section T DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION and
COMBINATION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).

Steering Wheel
^
Lower Column Cover
5.
Attach tape to the clock spring to prevent movement as shown.
Caution
^
Be sure to attach tape to the clock spring to prevent component damage.
6.
Remove the three (3) screws as shown above and pinch the two (2) claws together to remove the clock spring. Refer to the illustration shown.
