Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair
Pressure Regulator Removal and Installation

CAUTION:  Disconnecting/connecting the quick release connector without cleaning it may possibly cause damage to the fuel pipe and quick release
connector. Always clean the quick release connector joint area before disconnecting/connecting, and make sure that it is free of foreign material.

1. Complete the "BEFORE REPAIR PROCEDURE".
2. Disconnect the battery negative cable.

3. Remove in the order indicated below.

1. Vacuum hose
2. Plastic fuel hose

(See Plastic Fuel Hose Installation Note)

3. Pressure regulator

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
5. Complete the "AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE".
