6. Remove the hog rings.
7. Turn over the seat back cushion.
8. Remove the nuts to remove the side air bag module.
WARNING:

If the air bag harness is not secured at the marked point or the harness is caught, the side air bag module may fail to operate (deploy) in an
accident, causing a serious accident. Be sure to secure the air bag harness at the marked point, and make sure the harness is not caught during
operation of the seat.
9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
10. Turn the ignition switch to ON position.
11. Verify that the air bag system warning light illuminates for approximately 6 seconds and then goes off.
If the air bag system warning light does not operate in the manner described, there are malfunctions in the system. Inspect the system using the
on-board diagnostic function.
