SHIFT SOLENOID D AND E (ON/OFF TYPE) DESCRIPTION
Compact, light-weight three-way solenoids are adopted for shift solenoids D and E to reduce unnecessary ATF flow.
Function
-
ON/OFF type solenoid valve switches the supply drain to the output port according to the electric current flow switching.
Structure/operation
ON : When the solenoid is energized, the output port and the supply port (solenoid reducing pressure) are engaged in the solenoid, and the output
pressure becomes equivalent to the solenoid reducing pressure.
OFF : When the solenoid is de-energized, the output port and the drain port are engaged in the solenoid, and the output pressure is drained.
