Using SST (NGS Tester)
CAUTION: The PCM terminal voltages vary with change in measuring conditions and vehicle conditions. Always carry out a total inspection of the
input systems, output systems, and PCM to determine the cause of trouble. Otherwise, a wrong diagnosis will be made.
PCM Inspection Using the SST (NGS tester)
NOTE:

PIDs for the following parts are not available on this model. Go to the appropriate part inspection page.

ECT sensor (Water temperature sender unit)

CMP sensor

Main relay
1. Connect the NGS tester to the DLC-2.
2. Turn the ignition switch on.
3. Select the "PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD" function on the NGS display and press TRIGGER.
4. Select the appropriate PID on the NGS display and press START.
5. Measure the PID value.

If PID value is not within the specification, follow the instruction in Action column.
NOTE:

Perform the SIMULATION TEST for the output device after PID/DATA measurement is completed.
